These terms govern the use of services provided under kitsos.net and its subdomains, including websites, accounts, APIs, DNS resolver services, email features and related infrastructure (“Kitsos Services”). By accessing or using a Kitsos Service, you agree to these terms and to any service-specific requirements presented with that service.
Some services require an account, a Clerk session, Cloudflare Access authorisation or an API key. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials and API keys confidential, and revoke or rotate a key if you suspect compromise. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or keys to the extent permitted by law.
The Kitsos Keys API is the self-service location for API keys used by APIs that support API-key authentication. Keys are scoped and may only be used within the permissions granted to them. Do not share, resell, publish or use keys to circumvent access controls or limits. The Utility API has a public budget of 5 requests per minute per IP without a key; authenticated use receives higher application-level limits. Other APIs, including Mail, Hide My Email and Verify, may have usage limits. Requests for higher limits can be made through the Keys API; approval is not guaranteed.
You may verify and use only domains, email addresses and other resources that you own or are authorised to manage. Do not use Mail, webhooks, forwarding aliases or Hide My Email for spam, phishing, malware, unlawful content, unsolicited bulk messages, evasion of controls or impersonation. We may suspend, restrict or revoke access where necessary to protect users, providers or the services.
You must not attempt unauthorised access; interfere with availability or security; probe, overload, scrape or automate services beyond permitted limits; introduce malware; violate third-party rights; or use Kitsos Services for unlawful purposes. You must comply with applicable law and with the terms of providers whose services are accessed through Kitsos Services.
Services, APIs, endpoints, documentation, limits and features may change, be restricted or be discontinued. Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where practical, planned maintenance or material service changes will be communicated through the relevant service or status page.
Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that content and personal data you submit through a service, including email and webhook payloads, may lawfully be processed and sent.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kitsos is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, data loss, business interruption, service unavailability or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update these terms when services, law or operational requirements change; continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated terms where legally permitted.
